Hayaottah, March 14. Cholera has disappeared from St. Domingo. The island of St. Thomas is healthier. There has been torrents and tornadoes, and vomita has disappeared. Hayanah, March 23. The latest news from Venezuela represents that the revolutionists continued their operations, but had been badly defeated by General Colina at Occupara. Colonel Pinta was killed, The Government troops had gained another victory in a fight near the town of Tuy. The town of Barcelona has been taken by General Monzas. General Yalle had left for Tigre General Colina had gone to Calaboza, via Barbaccoa. The rebels are within fifteen miles of Carracas, and the capital is in a state of siege.
The Secretary of the French Legation had been shot, through a blunder of the troops, and Yacht Sultana's party (?) narrowly escaped a like fate. The Ocumare rebel faction left their wounded in Cutaca, and the Guerilleros are in Lazuna, Maraeay, Santa Cruz, and Cazua. Troops cover the communication between Argira and Guavisca.
