New Yobe:, March 18. It is reported that Mr Stanton, apprehending a guerilla raid upon the War Office from Virginia, has ordered the garrison of Washington to be held in readiness. An armed organisation is being effected in Tennessee to take forcible possession of the central state government. The bill to admit Alabama representatives to Congress has been re-committed ' by the House of Eepresentatives to the Eeconstruction Committee. A bill was introduced to provide for the re-issue of legal tenders, but it was withdrawn from circulation. St. Patrick's Day was enthusiastically observed by the Irish residents in the principal cities of the TJnion. It passed ■ off, however, without disturbance. The House of Eepresentatives adopted on March 2, the article of impeachment, ; ! charging President Johnson with having j | violated the Tenure of Office Act. The ! I House also adopted another impeachment article charging the President with having violated the Army Bill. Tee Senate Court met on March 13, for the trial of President Johnson. The Court ordered the President to file bis answer to the articles on or before 23rd March, when Johnson's counsel filed an answer denying all the charges, and applied for a delay of thirty days to prepare for the trial. The Senate refused the application by forty-one votes against twelve. The reply reaffirms all the charges. New York, March 28.
