CALIPORNIA.
(FROM THE " JLLTA." OF THE BTH MJLHCH) It is stated that sailing vessels are taking freight to Hong Kong from San Francisco at the extreme low figure of 3dol. 40c. per ton. The California, Oregon, and Mexico Steamship Company have concluded a contract with the Mexican Government by which the company is to establish and keep running two lines of steamships — one from San Francisco, to Mexican ports in the Ghilf of California and to Mazatlan, and the other from Mazatlan to Mexican ports south oi that point.
