Per Auckland, to Melbourne — Saloon : Mrs Worsley, Mr Corsor, Mrs Donaldson ; and 14 in the steerage. The s.s. Auckland left Wellington on the 9th at 3 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton on the 10th at noon; left Lyttelton on the 12th at Ip.m., and arrived at Port" Chalmers" on the 12th at 8 a.m. ; left at 3.3*1 on the 13th, and arrived at Bluff Harbor on the morning of the 15th. Head winds wjth fine clear weather to the Nuggets, which we passed at midnight on the 13th, after which met with strong gales and heavy head seas. At 7 p.m. on the 14tb, slowed engines ; hove to off iiuapuka. At daylight 15th, steamed into Bluff, and made fast at wharf at 8.15 a.m. The p.B. Southland left Dunedin at 3.30 p.m. on 13th, and had light head winds to the Nnggets, and from thence until making this port encountered a heavy S.W. gale with heavy sea; arrived off the harbor at 7.30 a.m. on the 15th.
