DEAR SIR,— We beg moßt respectfully to inform you we have THIS Day entered into Partnership, under the Name of RUSSELL and M'COLLOUGH, as Stock and Station Agents and General Salesmen. = Having purchased from Mr Todd the business so successfully started by Messrs Carey andGilles, we trust by strict attention to business, and the interests of our constituents, to merit a continuance of the support so liberally accorded to our predecessors. . From eighteen years' experience of our Mr A. M'Collough among sheep and cattle, in New South Wales and Victoria, the last eight years in conducting the : business of one of the largest Stock Agents ,in Victoria, we feel confident we can do justice to any one instructing us either in the purchase or disposal of stock. We beg to inform purchasers of store sheep or cattle we have made arrangements with aDunedin firm to keep us regularly furnished with lists of sheep and cattle in their hands for sale in Otago and Canterbury, in order that sales may be made here direct instead of having to go to Dunedin. For Sales by Auction, the WeeWy Sale on Saturdays for Horses, Working Bullocks, Pigs, Buggies, Harness, Drays, &c., will be held as usual at the Horse Bazaar, in Dee-Btreet, where .we are at present making grea^ improvements in the Stables, &c. The Commercial Sale Room in Dee-street will be open as before for the disposal of, privately or by auction, all kinds of merchandise, and every care taken and attention given to same. To parties instructing us with sales of stock, &c, outside, we will at all times be prepared to give every assistance by sending- out a competent man before the sale to take inventories, -iraffc the stock, &c, and make all necessary arrangements.
