Mr Hunt, a passenger by her, brought up a large parcel of gold, weighing ab it 1000 ounces, which was lodged in the Union li >nk of Australia. This is the result of a crusbii g from 20 tona qnartz, taken i'rom Hunt and Co's claim, -which is a most -wonderful yield, being at the rate of 50ozs to the ton. About 300ozs from other claims a 1 bo arrived by the Tauranga, making a t ta of 1300ozb."
