Co.'s steamship Omeo cleared Port Philip Heads at 7 p.m. on the 11th inst. ; passed Swan Island at 3 p.m. the following day; experienced strong S.W. winds the first twenty-four hours, then strong S. and S.E. gales with very heavy sea, which lasted for two days — since then fre.-h S.E. winds with thick weather ; laid too for twelve hours on the 16th, being very thick; sighted Solander Island at 7 a.m. on the 17th, and arrived at Bluff Harbor at 6 p.m. on same day. The s.s., Tararua, Capt. Hagley, left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on 18fch ; had head winds and sea down hither ; arriving off the entrance at 9 p!ni. on 19th.
