♦ Mr William Todd, Auctioneer, reports that owing to the Easter holidays and the extremely bad weather, the demand for horses, at last Saturday's sale, was less than for some considerable time past, consequently the greater part of Mr Gidney's selection were withdrawn till next sale day. .The following prices may be quoted : — heavy draught, £54 ; medium, £26 10s, £29 10s, and £42 ; hacks, £14 10s. £19 10s, and £20.— In property, the following sales were effected : — Section 18, block 12, Invercargill Hundred, 74 acres — 25s per acre ; quarter-acre section, Jack son-street, Sylvan Bank, £30. — There was a large Bale of miscellaneous lots in the Rooms, and fair prices were obtained.
