The ship Maria, Captain Duncan, left Glasgow on 18th December, 1837, and crossed the equator thirty-one days out ; made the Solanders at 3.30 a.m. on the 22nd inst., and arrived in port at 10 ajn. same morning. Spoke the bhip Palestine, from Port Natal, bound for London. Captain Duncan reports having experienced yery fine weather all the way out. The Maria brings a large cargo of agricultural machinery, shipped by Messrs Norton, of Glasgow, for the Company's stations in Southland and Otago.
