CRACK SHOTS.
(TO THB EDITOB OP THE SOUTHLAND TIMES.) ' Sib, — Having seen a local in your journal of the 16th inst.* about Sergeant 'Moeller beating two of the Eiverton cracks (as they are termed), either of the said cracks are open to make a match with Sergeant Moeller, at 400, 500, 600 yards, at the Eiverton butts, for £5 a side, or if preferred, they will fire against him and any other of' the Invercargill Volunteers he may chose to name, and allow the rifles belonging to the Eiverton corps to be used, as they seem to be preferred. — -We are, Sir, your's, &c, „.(-,.• William Ceisp 7-R-Dy, ' : ' ' ! r ';"' .
