NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an ap* plication has been made by Jobqt MJLSOHV of the Oily of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Maohinist, in accordance "with the "Patents Act, 1860," for the issue to him of Letters Patent granting him the exclusive use of a new invention or improvement originated ordiscovered, by him, being a machine in the nature, of a mill, to be worked by hand, water, or steam power, for crushing or grinding auriferous quartz, or other gold bearing stone, and preparing such, quartz or other stone for the process of amalgamation. And any person or persons who may wish to prefer any objection to the granting of such Letters Patent are hereby required to send within four months of the publication hereof, to John Boyle Bennett, of the City of Wellington," in the said Colony, Esquire, M.D;, being the* person appointed for that purpose under the provisions of the said Act, a statement in drifting, setting forth the grounds of Buch objection, sub« scribed with his or their proper names and address, JOHN MASON.
