Public Notices NOTICE UNDER "PATENTS ACT, 1860." In the matter of the Application of Johk Mason for Letters Patent. NOTICE IS HEREBT GIVEN that an. application has been made by Johk Mason, of the City of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Machinist, in accordance with the "Patents Act, 1860," for the issue to .him of Letters Patent granting him the exolusive use of a new invention or improvement originated or discovered by him, being a machine in the nature of a mill, to be worked by hand, water, or steam power, for orushing or grinding auriferous quartz, or other gold bearing stone, and preparing such quartz or other stone for the process of amalgamation. And any person or persons who may wish to prefer any objection to the granting of such Letters Patent are hereby required to send within four months of the publication hereof, to John Boyle Bennett, of the City of Wellington, in the said Colony, Esquire, M.D., being the person appointed for that purpose under the provisions of the said Act, a statement in writting, setting forth the grounds of such objection, subscribed with his or their proper names and address.
