Captain Boyd, of the ship Robert Henderson, reports having sailed from Otago on 18th inst., and had to contend with a succession of S.W. gale 3, and consequently had to beat down against them as far as Slope Point, when easterly airs and calms were experienced until her arrival in this port. The favorite clipper ship Robert Henderson, under the command of Captain Boyd (formerly of the Vicksburg), arrived in port early yesterday (27th) morning, from Otago, and 'was berthed alongside the wharf in the afternoon, and she is now ready to .proceed with her loading, which will comprise about 2000 bales wooL The Robert Henderson comes into this port nearly a new ship, having received a thorough overhaul, with extensive improvements, and has had her classification renewed. Tnis is the third visit of this ship to this port, having been twice here with emigrants from the Clyde. The barque Ethels is rapidly completing her cargo, and will be readj to proceed to sea by the end of the week.
