The news fro qi Seulla is to the 19th November. The reconnoitering force 1 reports favorably of the country. The sanatory condition of the army was excellent. The march inland was to commence on the Ist December. Splendid ■ roads were being pushed in all directions on the route selected. News from the ■ captives comes down to the 28th October. Theodorus was believed to be at Debra Jahor. The country was fearfully disorganised, and the insurrection was extend- : ing. Hundreds of villagers had placed themselves under the protection of the British. Four thousand Egyptian troops, under a general, had arrived at Massowah. Their object was unknown. Mr Austin, the Times correspondent, arrived at Massowah on the 2nd November. • . A brigade had left Bombay for Seulla, the Bengal brigade embarking at Calcutta.
