The meeting was pretty successful. Clyde, Monday. The building known as the old Commercial Hotel was destroyed by fire yesterday. Welmngton, Monday. Dr. Hector has gone to Horowhena, near Otaki, where it is reported fine gold has been found over an extensive district. He is emected back in about a week.
