No entries will be received for any of the Races except upon these conditions, that all claims and objections arising outof the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final. S.B.C. Rules strictly adhered to. " No person will be allowed to enter or run a horse unless the latter be qualified as the bona fide property of a subsbriber of 3 soys. to the Race Fund — unless he be a member of the Southland Racing Club, when 1 soy. shall qualify. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Stewards (entrance money enclosed), with name age, pedigree, of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. , ! Handicaps will be declared the same night, except for Invercargill Handicap, which will be declared on the evening of Thursday, the 6th of February 1868, at Sutherland's Bridge Inn Hotel, at 8 p.m. All dogs found on the Course will be destroyed, irrespective of ownership. .
