i On New Tear's Day some very good sport was obtained by those employed on the Company's Btation at Edendale: The following gentlemen kindly actedontheoccasion : — Stewards— Messrs Riddle, M'lntosh, "Warden, and Templeton. Judge — W. Shepherd. Starter — Mr Brand. Clerk of the Course — Mr JamieBon. The greatest interest appears to have ■ been manifested in bothevents, and the | utmost harmony and good feeling appears ( to have existed.
