No entries wiU be received for any ofthe Races except upon these conditions, that aU claims and objections arising out of the racing shatt be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme shall be final. No person wiU be aUowed to enter or run a horse unless the latter be qualified hs the bona" fide property of a subsbriber of 3 sovs. to the Race Fund — unless he be a member ofthe South-' land Racing Club, when 1 sov. shatt qualify. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Stewards (entrance money enclosed), with name age, pedigree, of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Three horses to be entered, or no pubho money witt be added. No Jockey aUowed to ride except in the colors entered. Entries must be made to the Stewards, and 'addressed to Colyer's Princess Hotel, Invercargill, before the hour of eight o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the : 4th of February 1868. Handicaps wiU be declared the same night, except for InvercargiU Handicap, which.wiU be declared: on the evening of Thursday, the 6th of February 1868, at Sutherland's Bridge Inn Hotel, at 8 p.m. All dogs found on the Course wiUbe destroyed, irrespective of ownership.
