COMMERCIAL INTELLIGENCE.

TIMB3 Office, Thursday Evening. Mr Wh. Todd, Auctioneer, reports that at his Waliacetown monthly cattle sale on the 10th iaßtant, the attendance was as numerous as at previous sales, but the bidding scarcely as spirited, owing to the unu3uilly large number of stock offered. The sales have been carried on during the last twelve months, and, latterly, the amount of stock brought forward has continuously increased. There wers over 100 head of cattle brought under the hammer, nearly the whole of which found purchasers at satisfactory prices. Milch cows being still in demand, brought, for good, from £1.4 to £17 ; medium. £10 to £13 10s; heifers (yearlings), £7 to £7 10s. 6 steew, 2-year old, in one lot, £8 5s each. The horses, with the exception of one hack, sold for £17, were withdrawn.
