MEMORANDA.

The s.s. Airedale, with the Panama English mail, arrived alongside the Bluff wharf at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. She left Wellington on the 23rd inst., at 4.30 p.m., and experienced a fearful gale from S.W., before leaving Lyttelton on the 24th inst. ; left Lyttelton at noon on Monday, having been unable to land passengers until that morning ; experienced heavy S.E swell and arrived at Port Chalmers at 8.30 a.m. 26th inst. ; left again at 7.15 p.m., and arrived as above after a smooth passage. Left on the 28th for the West Coast.
