Any implements adapted to the Agricultural requirements of the colony, that may be exhibited will, should they be considered meritorious, be awarded prizes. In alloting prizes for this class, workmanship, utility, and cheapness, will be considered. Special prizes will be given for such as may be of Provincial manufacture. ♦ BYE-LAWS AND EEG-ULATIONS : 1. All Stock shown must be bona fide the property of the Exhibitor or his Principal. 2. Entries in writing must be lodged with the Secretary three clear days before the day of show, when a Ticket will be given, stating the class in which the entry is made ; which ticket the person in charge of the animals or articles intended for exhibition must produce at the gate, in order to show in what position the Exhibits are to be placed. 3. An entraec-fee will be charged to competitors on each exhibit, at the rate of 5 per cent, on the amount of the first prize in the class in which the entry is made. The Members of the Society to be admitted free. 4. On payment of the annual subscription for the year ending 30th September, 1868, a card will be given, bearing the Members' name, which shall admit him to all the Society's exhibitions during the year. 5. All Implements, Machinery, &c, must be placed in the Show Yards before 5 p.m. of Wednesday, 18th December, and all live stock before 9 a.m. of Thursday, 19th December, except Horses, which must be in the yard by half-past 9 a.m. Note. — Intending Competitors are particularly requested to observe the latest date fixed for the reception of Entries, that the " Entry Ticket " must be produced with each lot at the gateß of the Show Yard, and also that no animal or article will be received for exhibition in the Yards after the dates and hours specified, as the rules having reference to these matters will be strictly enforced ; except in cases where it can be proved to the satisfaction of the Committee, that the delay was the result of circumstances over which the intending Exhibitor had no control. 6. One man will be allowed in charge of each lot, if necessary. 7. The Public will be admitted to the Yards from 11 to 12 o'clock of Thursday, the 19th Deer., (ie., during- the adjudication of the Prizes), on payment of Two Shilliags and Sixpence ; after that time, at One Shilling. Gates close at 6 p.m. 8. No person will be permitted to make any drawings of Stock, Machinery, &c, without the consent of the owner obtained through the Secretary. 9. Any implement adapted to the agriculture of the Colony, which may be brought forward shall receive a prize if considered meritorious. In awarding prizes for implements, workmanship, utility, and cheapness will be considered. 10. The Judges are empowered to withhold the prizes in any department in which there is not sufficient merit. Their decision in all cases to be final. 11. Any prize awarded shall be considered to have lapsed if not applied for within twelve months from date of award. 12. No animal or article can be removed from the Show Yards before 5 o'clock p.m. of Thura« day, 19th December. 13. All Exhibitors of Stock will be required to provide their own forage j water will be pro* vided by the Society. 14.
