By Premier, (imported), dam, Enigma, by Figaro, Grand-dam, Black Bess, was bred by Thomas Austin, Esq., Barwon Park. For further particulars see Victorian Stud Book. Premier is by Toryboy, out of Baronets by Leopold, out of The Dutchess, •winner of the St. Leger, by Cardinal York. Premier won the Sefton Plate at Liverpool, and the Staffordshire Plate. Premier is also the >Bire of -the following winning horses: — Tricolor; Brownlock, Artaxerxes, Fusileer, Presto, Tomboy, Musidora, Ebor, Mormon, &c, &c. Secundtts is halfbrother to Mormon, who won in five years no less than £6,990. Secundtts is a beautiful bright bay ; 15 hands 3 inches high, of great power ; with black points ; 8 years old ; has a very fine temper ; has proved himself a sure foal-getter, and his foals have turned out exceedingly handsome. He won the Ballarat 2 and 3-year, old Biennials ; and was fourth for the Two Thousand Guineas, won by bis half-brother Mormon. He also ran second for the Town Plate, won by Archer. He won the Chester Cup twice, and a great many other big races, Faugh a Ballagh's performances are well known to all racing men. "Panic," by "Alarm;" his dam by "Melbourne," out of "Birthday," by " Pantaloon ;" out of " Honoria," by " Camel." " Panic," the Sire of " i oung Panic," is one of the best performers on the Victorian Turf, being the winner of the Launceston Champion Race of 1865, and of several fast races in Victoria.
