ABBIVED. Get. 21. — Wanganui, s.s., from Wanganui. Oct. 22, 8 a.m. — Electra, ship, from London. The little clipper schooner Danzig, bu'J.t and owned by Mr Puettelkow, has just made one of the quickest, if not; the quickest run from here to Dun-:, edin ever made by any sailing craft. She left the New River Harbor on the morning of Thursday last, and made Oiago Heads on the evening of the same day, and beat up against a head wind to the Dunedin wharf the following morning, making the entire trip from whavf to wharf in 24 hours. The steamship Omeo, 1000 tons, Hugh Mackie; commander, left Port Philip Heads at 4 p.m. on the 17th October j experienced fresh W.S.W. and S.W. -winds, the first three days j since then, moderate 3.E. winds, with fine weather. Sighted
Green Point at 1.30 a.m. on the 22nd, and arrived at Bluff after a quick passage of 4 days 21 hours. Passed the steamship Tararua 50 miles east of Svrnn Island, on the 18th inst. i i-The Neva has arrived at Auckland from Tahiti, with a shipment of 160 bales of cotton and 52 bales of cotton seed, the product of the Tahitian Company. ... She reports the schooner Herald arriving at Eorotonga, after a passage of 23 day.from Auckland, and going on to Tahiti, about the 10th ultimo. The cutter Hercules had also arrived at Eorotonga from Auckland, and proceeded to the islands. The brigantine Sea -Gull had taken in a cargo of guano at. Maiden Island, and left for Sydney. The brig Eona, Captain Hayes, had left Eorotonga for San Francisco.
