NOTICE TO OUR CORRESPONDENTS.

We are unable to insert several communications, owing to the demand on our space occasioned by Election Intelligence, Summary, and English News. Amongst the letters is one from Mr John Mitchell, on the subject of the sale of the steamer " Southland." It is very voluminous, arid extends over at least three or four columnß. Whilst we have every desire to afford it full publicity at the earliest opportunity, it is utterly impossible to insert it in our present issue.
