MADAME CARANDINI'S FAREWELL CONCERT.
The Carandini Company gave their farewell concert on Monday night, the house was a very fair one. As the programme was the same as that of Tuesday week, and as we then criticised it in detail, it is unnecessary to enter into full particulars. The chief points of interest were the duet from " Lucia" (better sung than on the previous occasion), Venzano's " Ah Che Assorta" (Miss Rosina), "Alas, Those Chimes" (Miss Fanny), " The Star of Love" (Mr Sherwin), " Old Eobin Gray" (Madame Cai-andini), the duet " When Shall We Meet," and a Severie of Ascher's, played by Miss Kosina instead of " Summer's Eve." We believe they leave to-day by the Pheebe for their Northern tour, and we hope they may have everywhere the success they so thoroughly deserve. The young ladies hare most decidedly won golden opinions on all sides. May we Booh see them here again.
