Miscellaneous HOLLOWAY'S OINTMENT. T)OSSESSED of this remedy, every man is his X own Family Physician. If his wile or children be troubled with eruptions of the skin, sores, 1 tumours, white swellings, sore throats, asthma, or or any other similar ailment, a persevering use of 1 this Ointment is all that is necessary to produce a radical cure. SKIK DISEASES, HOWEVER DESPEEATE MAY BE BADICALLY CUBED. Scald-heads, itch, blotcheß on the skin, scrofulous sores, or king's evil, and such like afflictions, yield to the mighty power of this fine Ointment, provided it be well rubbed into the affected parts two or three times a day, and the Pills be taken of purify the blood. DROPSIES. ' This miraculous Ointment, if well worked into the complaining parts twice a day, will penetrate to the disordered vessels ; and the Pills, if taken according to the printed directions, will produce ' the most pleasing and wonderful effects. This invaluable Ointment will cure any ulcer or 1 sore, however desperate and long standing, even where amputation has been recommended as the only means of saving the limb. Vi The following letter lias been addressed to Mr Powell by William Boards, Esq., an extensive Agriculturist and Land Agent, residing at Edmonton, Middlesex : — Nightingale Hall, Edmonton. "DeabSie, — I have recently suffered much from a most violent cough, proceeding from tickling in my chest, which no remedy, out oi many I resorted to, could allay. My head was constantly aching, aud my whole frame entirely shaken. Having seen the good effects of your Balsam of Aniseed in several . members of my family, I purchased a small bottle, and when going to bed at night took a teaspoonful in two table spoonfuls of water just warm. The effec*was immediate ; it arrested the tickling' in rtry chest, I slept well, and arose perfectly restored in the morning, with the exception of debility, arising from fatigue by incessant coughing for some days previous. My cough entirely left me, and has never returned. Having since heard of a lady in the neighborhood who for a long time j had labored under a most distressing cough, and who had resorted to every remedy within her knowledge, I sent the remainder of the bottle to her ; and that long-standing obstinate, and (as she thought) incurble cough^ was perfectly cured.
