The brigantine Sir Isaac Newton, Captain Mackie, left Adelaide with a cargo of breadstuff's, consigned to Messrs Mitchell & Co., on the 10th ■ult., and experienced very fine and favorable weather_till nearing the New Zealand coast ; she arrived off. the heads on the Ist inst., the same day as the Nile, but just too late to come in, and had to stand over to. Port- William, from whence she has since made several. attempts to reach the New Eiver, but without success until yesterday, when she got i fi> 7orable slant, and is now lying
