Wellington", June 27. The s.s. Eakaia,, Captain Wright, arrived from Panama this morning at 3.30. She left Panama at midnight on the 24th May, and was delayed by strong head winds after passing Pitcairn's Island. Passengers : For Canterbury — Mr Gr, Coates, Sir and Mrs Homewood, Mr Heywood, Master Heywood, Mr French, Mr Inman, Mr Chapman. For Auckland — Rev. D. Jones, Mr and Mrs Scott. For Nelson — Miss Mactavish. For Hokitika — Mr Henry Best. _ For Melbourne — Mr Anderson, Mr and. Mrs Tallerman. For Sydney — Mr Whitehead, Mr Bryncer. From New York for "Wellington — Mr Jordon and daughter, Madame Yargor, t Miss"Pryor, Mr T. Baxter and wife, Rev. Isaac Mackay, Mr James Mitchell, Mr Gr. H. Cannabell, wife, and child, Mr M'Neil, Mr J. Harton. From San Francisco for Wellington — Mr Alfred Bullock and wife.
