DUNEDIN. ?? , " 9 a.m., 4th May, 1867. On Thursday the Goldfielda Management Ordinance, to test public opinion, passed all its stages. Yesterday the Provincial Treasurer gave notice that on Monday he would move certain resolutions relative to existing relations with the General Government. The Council stands adjourned till that date (Monday.) A Hokitika telegram just received announces that a great rush had taken place to "Woodstock, 8 miles off. A township was already laid out. Mr Stafford had requested the Hon. John Hall to come to Otago. He was expected to arrive in a iew da,yo. The Wardens at Clyde and Cromwell refuse to disobey the General Government. In other districts oDinion is divided.
