last week, the business doing being limited to trade parcela. The operations in sugars have been trifling ; and of teas we only hear of inconsiderable sales. Both articles are at sustained rates. In provisions little enquiry, except fo f, bu " e^ which is scarce, at the current value, Is 4d. Malt liquors in glass continue very languid, the stock both of stouts and ales being very heavy. The trade in stouts has been checked by the number of parcels upon the market, the condition of which is very bad ; whilst for bottled ales enquiry seem* to have died away. The new brew bulk ales have been selling fairly. Spirits have commanded scarcely any attention. The words " allowance of five per cent," referring to sugars in our wao of the sth, should have read " advanpe of five per cant."
