SPEKCEB T. EUTGSWELL. Action to recover -89. 18s 3d, for cartage &c, defendant had paid £7 14s into Court, and pleaded that the balance of account was ,an over-charge. The evidence of both parties having been taken with reference to the items in dispute viz : — whether 7s or 7s 6d per bale had been agreed on as the cartage of ■wool to the Bluff, and the correctness of certain amounts for cartage of meat. Judgment was given for the plaintiff with costs. BBOAD T*. STAIiKBE. Action to recover £2 for goods delivered. In this case notice had been Bent in of a set-off of equal amount. There being however no appearance of defendant, judgment went by default.
