THE GOVEENOE'S VISIT. TjiROM TELEGRAPHIC INFORMATION received last night, it is certain that the " Brisk," with His Excellency and suite on board, left Port Chalmers Heads last evening, and will most probably reach the Bluff by 10 o'clock this morning. Upon his arrival at the Bluff, this day, (Monday) after a short stay at Campbelltown, he will proceed to Invercargill by Railway. On arriving at the Station the Addresses will be presented, after which, the Procession will escort him from the Station to the Arch in Dee-street, from fchence up Tay to Kelvin- street, and from there to the Southland Club, where the Dejeuner will ake plac e. In the evening a Reception will be held. A fresh Programme will be issued for the country districts as soon as it is definitely known how long His Excellency will remain in Southland. The following is the order of the Procession to escort His Excellency from the Railway Station, viz : Police (mounted) Fire Brigade, with Engine, &c. Members of the Chamber of Commerce (on foot) Odd-Fellows Superintendent and Members of the Executive Council (mounted) The Governor and suite (in carriage) The Citizens and Settlers (mounted) Citizens (on foot) The Schools By order. TT is intended to run a Special Train from Invercargill to the Bluff, to meet His Excellency the Governor, THIS DAT (MONDAY) at 9 a.m sharp. The Return Train will be despatched from the Bluff immediately on His Excellency the Governor's entering the Station. Parties are requested to be punctual in taking their seats in the Railway Carriages, as it is desirable that everybody going to the Bluff should be on the Invercargill Platform to welcome him on his arrival .
