THE BLUFF.

The Bluff was gaily decorated with, trees, evergreens, and triumphal arches. The latter was far superior in design to the one opposite Mitchell's corner in Inyercargill. The principal houses were also gaily decorated, and everything necessary to ensure His Excellency a hearty welcome was apparent. The same feeling of disappointment at the Governor's non-arrival was observable at Campbelltown. It is to be hoped that the speedy appearance of Sir George will effectually eradicate the discontent generally felt.
