The following programme has been arranged > for the Governor during his stay in Southland viz.: — Upon his arrival at the Bluff, on Saturday morning, after a short stay at CampbeUtown, he wttl proceed to InvercargUl by Eailway. On arriving at the Station the Addresses wttl be presented, after which, the Procession wttl escort him from the Station to the Arch in Dee-street, from thence up Tay to Kelvin-street, and from there to the Southland Club, where the Dejeuner wttl take place. In the evening a Eeception wttl be held. On the 17th March His ExceUency wttl proceed to Eiverton, returning to InvercargiU on the foUowing day, on the evening of which the Eeception BaU wiU be held at the EaUway Station On Tuesday the 19fch March he wttl visit the » inland districts, return on Wednesdey, and leave for the Blnff that evening, unless circumstances wttl permit a prolonged stay. The foUowing is the order of the Procession to escort His ExceUency from the Eailway Station, viz : Pohce (mounted) Fire Brigade, with Engine, kc Members of the Chamber of Commerce (on foot) Odd-FeUows Superintendent and Members of the Executive CouncU (mounted) The Governor and suite (in carriage) The Citizens and Settlers (mounted) Citizens (on foot) The Schools By order. The Eeturn Train wttl be despatched from the Bluff immediately on His ExceUency the Governor's entering the Station. Parties are requested to be punctual in taking their seats in the Eailway Carriages, as it is desirable that everybody going to the Bluff should be on the InvercargiU Platform to welcome him on ' his arrival.
