The sugar market, closed for the holidays with a good demand, especially for low medium kinds ; for nearly all qualities at under 32s a further rise of from 6d to Is has been experienced. Good fine grocery sorts are scarce, and long prices are paid. The stock now is only 11,000 over last year's, and deliveries are still increasing. Victorian debentures (sixes) 104 to 105.
