POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after January lßt, 1867, the following rates of postage will be charged on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand, for delivery within the Colony : — No. 1. Town Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony for delivery at or from such Post-office : — Not exceeding £ an oz Id. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz. 2d. For every oz., or fraction of sn oz. over loz. .. t 2d. No. 2. Countiy Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony for delivery at or from any other Post-office witliin the same Province : — Not exceeding §an oz ... ... 2d. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceeding 1 0z. ... ... ... ... 4d. For every oz., or fraction of an oz. over 1 oz. 4d. No 3. Interprovincial Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony, for delivery at or from any Post-office in any other Province within the colony : — Not exceeding £an oz. ... ... 3d. Exceeding -J- an oz., but not exceeding loz i 6d. For every oz. or fraction of an oz. over 1 oz. ... ... ... 6d. On all Newspapers posted within the colony for delivery within the colony, One Penny each.
