PEOCLAMATION By the Honorable John Parkin Tayxok, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Southland. TXTHEEEAS by Proclamation dated. * * third day of December, one Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Six, the Provincial Council of the Province of Southland was summoned to meet for the despatch of business on Wednesday, the second day of January, 1867. And whereas it is expedient to Prorogue the same, now therefore I, John Parkin Tatloe Superintendent of the Province of Southland, do hereby Prorogue the said Provincial Council to Monday, the fourteenth day of January, 1667 ; and I do hereby further announce and proclaim that the said Provincial Council shall assemble for the despatch of business on the said fourteenth day of January, at 2 o'clock p.m., at the Masonic Hall, situate in Kelvin-street, Invercargill ; and the Members of the said Council are hereby required to give their attendance at the said time and place accordingly. Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Southland, at Invercargill, this twenty-seventh day of December, One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-six. John P.
