-«. The following appeared in the " Government G-azette," 14th November. PEOCLAMATION. By the Honorable John Parkin Taylor, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Southland. TN pursuance of the power _in me vested I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the day ofthe date hereof, all that portion of the Province of Otago, as described in the Schedule following shall be and be deemed to be an infected District within the meaning of the " Diseased Cattle Act, 1 861," and that any person who may he desirous of removing any cattle from out of the said Infected District into the Province of Southland, and thereafter during the same in the said Province must comply with the Begulations hereto appended. G-iven under my hand and issued under the public seal of this Province this fourteenth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and sixty- six. John P. Taylor, Superintendent.
