Dunedin, Nov. 10. On Thursday, Dillon Bell moved an amendment in the Provincial Council, to the reply to his Honor the Superintendent's Speech, which on being pressed to a division was carried, 15 voting for it, and 13 against it. An adjournment was allowed in order that the Grovernment might consider the position in which it had been placed. The Keera is asbore on the beach at the Buller, so high that it is considered probable that she will be abandoned to insurers. . The vessel at the heads is the Olive Mount, and not the Timaru, as previously reported.
