The extremely fine weather experienced this spring has enabled the squatters to commence shearing at much earlier than usual. We observed on Friday and Saturday wool laden waggons from the interior entering the town. It is believed that the cup this year will be heavy and unusually early. The returns of the Riverton Customs, that will be found in our commercial columns, are worthy of attention, as they show that Riverton in rapidly progressing.
