ABBIVED. Not 2, 8.30 p.m* — Allance, from Waikouaiti. SAILED. Nov 2, 7 a.m. — Cora, for Invercargill. Nov 2, 2 p.m. — Savale, for Mauritius. Nov 2, 6 p.m. — Tairoa, for Molyneux. An affidavit made by a Mr Mullins. clerk to Howard, Dolmain and Co.. solicitors in London for the United States Government, has been presented to the Court of Admiralty setting forth that seven steamers, ex-blockade runners, lyine at Liverpool and standing in the name of Eraser, Trenholm and Co., were lawfully the property of the United States, having belonged to the Confederate Government at the termination of the war, the * dmiralty issued a warrant for £20,000 agamst each steamer, and took possession of tlr-m. Tt is alleged that three of the vessels are subject to a pending chancery suit by the United States against Privolean ; that three others are bona fide property of Fraser, Trenholm and < o. ; and that one other belongs to the bmlders, having never been registered.
