9 The P.N.Z. and A.R M. Company's s.s. Egmont, J. Y. Fall jiinr., Coir.:mnnc!er, left Nelson on the lOtli October, with light pleasant weather. On clearing Blind Bay she was met by strone S.W. winds and high sea, -which prevailed during her passage to the Greymouth ; arrired off that port on the 11th, at 2 p.m., and signalled for a steam tag, hut as no return was given she tripped her anchor and steamed for Hotitika, arriving in the roadstead that night. Heavy -weather and an impassable bar prevented the harbor steamers from attending upon her until yesterday, when the Yarra arrived outside and transhipped a portion of the passengers, the remainder, it is expected, will be landed to-day. The Egmont brings about 20 ton? of cargo and 34 passengers ; she sals for Bluff Farbor and Punedin to-day. — West Coast ttmes, Oct. I9th. The 5.3. Egraont left Eotritilra on the 17th October ; had fine wefrther during the passage ; arrived at the 'luff at 6.30 p.m. on the 20th. and sailed for Dunedin shortly afterwards. Reports the arrival of the Eeera from Bunedin and Bluff'
