FOUL CHIMNEYS.

(50 THE EDITOB O? THE SOTTTHIiAIfD TIME 3.) Sic, — Some time since, a raid was made against foul chimneys by the police, and several persons were fined. Now, Sir, I do not dispute the justice of the fines inflicted, but I do say that all should be Berved alike. Several cases have occurred lately where chimneys have taken fire, but no notice has been taken of the occurrence. This looks very like a desire to make "fish of some, and fry of others." — Tours, &c, Observer.
