Increased postage on letters and papers passed all stages, having been carried by a majority of one only. Stamp Duties Schedule passed Commitkee, the only change being that receipts under five pounds not chargeable. Auckland has thrown up responsibility jonnected with confiscated lands ; great jonfusion of financial arrangements in jonßequence. Auckland loan withdrawn.
