Miscellaneous. NEW AND MOST VALUABLE MEDICINES or GRIMAULT 4 CO., Chemists to H.I.H. Prioee Napoleon, in Paris, For hitherto intractable and insurable diseases. No mobe Cod Liveb Oil. GRIMAULT'S SYRUP OF IODIZED HORSERADISH, Prepared by Gbimault & Co., Chemists of Paris, according to the certificates of the physicians at the Paris hospitals, detailed in the printed directions, and with the approbation of several academies, this Syrup is employed with the greatest success in place of Cod Liver Oil, to which it is infinitely superior. It cures diseases ofthe chest, scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss of appetite. It regenerates the constitution by purifying th« blood, and is in a word the most powerful depurative known. It never fatigues the stomach and bowels, like lodide of Potassium and the lodide of Iron, and is administered with the greatest efficacy to young children subject to humours or obstruction of the glands. Dr. Cazenave of Saint Louis Hospital, Paris, recommends it particularly in diseases of the skin, to be taken with his Pills mentioned above. This Syrup of lodised Horseradish is a capital adjunct to Dr. Leras' Phosphate of Iron. NO MOBB CONSUMPTION. GRIMAULT'S SYRUP OF HYPOPHOSPHATE OF LIME. This new Medicine is a sovereign remedy in phthisis and other diseases of the lungs, promptly removes all the more serious symptoms. Pepsine is the gastric juice itself, or rather the active principle purified, which digests food in the stomach. When, from various causes, the supply of the digestive fluid is too small, the inevitable consequences are, bad digestion, inflammation of the mucous coats of the stomach and bowels, and in females general derangement. The Elixir of Pepsine, sanctioned by the Paris Academy of Medicine, speedily cures all such diseases, and prevents vomiting during pregnancy and while out sea-voyaging. no mobb povebty oe the blood and pal* Complexion. DES. LERAS' PHOSP EATE OF IRON. This new ferruginous medicine contains the elements of the blood and bones, and Iron in a liquid state. It is different from all hitherto offered to the public, is liquid, colourless and tasteless. It speedily cures chlorosis, pains in the stomach, difficult digestion, dysmenorrhoea, anemia, and advantageously supersedes Carbonate of Iron, Iron reduced by Mydroyen, Lactate of Iron the Pills of Potassic-tartrate of Iron, and lodide of Iron. The majority of the Academies of Medicine of Paris, recommend the Phosphate of Iron, to Ladies of dehcate constitution suffering from anemia, and all other persons fatigued from over anxiety, nervous emotions, overwork, general debility and poorness of blood. It is only preparation which never causes constipation, and can be borne by the most dehcate stomachs. It is the best adjunct to the Syrup of lodized Horse-radish and Royal Elixir of Yellow Peruvian Bark. No mobe Copaiba akd Cubebs. GRIMAULT'S CAPSULES AND LIQUID EXTRACT OF MATICO VEGETALIS. Where all other Medicines have failed, these preparations will always effect a cure. These insure rapid and extraordinary cure of severe recent and chronic cases of private disease. They are used in the Hospitals of Paris, by the cele- ! brated Dr. Ricord, and are found greatly superior to all hitherto known mineral remedies and j Copaiba and Cubebs. This miraculous Ointment, if well worked into the complaining parts twice a day, will penetrate to the disordered vessels ; and the Pills, if taken according to the printed directions, will produce the most pleasing and wonderful eflects. ' This invaluable Ointment will cure any ulcer or sore, however desperate and long standing, even where amputation has been recommended as the only means of saving the limb. DBOPSICAL SWELLnrOS, PABALYSIS AKD STIEP JOINTS. Although the above complaints differ widely n their origin and nature, yet they all require local treatment. Many of the worst eases of such diseases will yield, in a comparatively short space of time, when this Ointment is diligently rubbed into the parts affected, even when every other means have failed. In all serious maladies, the Pills should be taken according to the printed directions accompanying each box.
