RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
(Before H. M'Culloeh, Esq., E.M.) SATUBDAT, Ist SEPTEMBES, James Hay was charged under the Tagrant Ordinance with being on the premises of John Honywill without lawful excuse. It appeared that on the previous night the prosecutor got home late and found the prisoner in a lean-to at the back of his premises. He appeared to have been sleeping, andnotsatisiactorily accounting for being there he was given into custody, sentenced to 3 days imprisonment with hard labor. MO^AY, 3ed SEPTEMBER.. The inebriates were fined 10s each* or 24 hour 3 imprisonment. EHISD T. NTJTT. Adjourned to 3rd October. Civil Cases. stock -wo co. v. beecee£. Claim for -goods sold £24 2s 2d. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. SIOCH: ASD CO. T. TWISING. (3-oods sold £11 os od, Judgment for Plaintiff for £6 5s 5d and costs. BAIvK OF OTAGO T. GE.IETE. Action on a dishonored bill £37 2s Sd. Judgment by default with costs.
