(From the "Argus " 31st July.) ' (PEOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENTS.) Sydney 30th July. Dr.Bleasdale and Mr J. G. Knight met the New South Wales Commissioners of the Exhibition to-day. The former stated the object of the "mission, and after a short conversation, the New South Wales Commissioners agreed to everything proposed. A number of local joint-stsck companies held meetings to-day. v The City Bank declared a dividend of eight per cent, per annum ; the JoinfcStock Bank, fifteen per cent. : the Wallsend Coal Company, four per cent. The Clarence Eiver Steam Navigation Company have not dechued a dividend this half-year. Owing to the cost of repairs which had to be effected to the oompany's s.s. Agnes Irving, and the loss of the s.s. Urara, the profit and loss account shews a debit of £19,104. Maize is quoted at 4s 3d to 4s 4d, and is dull of sale at those prices. The Balclutha, s.s., has arrived from Bockhampton, bringing the crew of the Golden City, which was wrecked during the late gales. The schooner Eagle was wrecked on the North Head this morning. The crew were saved. Trade continues inanimate. Arrived. — Balclutha, from Bockhampton ; City of Brisbane and Lady. Bowen, from Brisbane: Blackbird, from Melbourne. Sailed. — City of Hobart, for Hobart Town ; William Clowes, for Mauritius. Adelaide, 30th July. Captain Trouton's exertions here during his short stay were very successful in adding to the fund for the relief of sufferers by the late gales on the Sydney coast. No transactions are reported in the corn market. The millers only offer 5s 9d to 5s lOd for wheat ; flour, £14 10s to £15 ; bran, Is sd. Sailed. — Beubens, for Melbourne ; Penola, for Melbourne ; and Wonga Wonga, for King George's Sound.
