(BY TELEGRAPH VIA SYDNEY.) Sydney, 26th July. The W. B. Sacratum, from California, brings dates to the 4th of June. • 'he reports two vessels loading for Sydney when sire left, and two for Melbourne. A severe shock of an earthquake was felt on the 30th of May. The Academy of Music, the Medical Hall, and other buildings in New York, were destroyed by fire on the 22nd of May. The loss by this conflagration is estimated at 2,000,000d 01. The ex- President of the South (Jeff. Davis) is to be tried in September. A large and most destructive fire took place in San Froneisco on the 2nd June. The loss is estimated at 30,000d01. General Scott died at New York on the 29th of May.
