SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Adelaide, 4th August. Major Warburton, who started about three months ago on an exploring expedition to the north-western part of the continent in that unknown country at the back of the Great Australian Bight, arrived at Mount Margaret on the 17th of July. News were received in Adelaide that the whole party were safe and well. Ten thousand bales of wool of Jast season's clip, are stored above Menindie, on the Darling, which cannot be got down for want of water in the river. It is feared that the new clip, which is now about due, will have to be stored on the banks af the river. Adelaide, 6th August. It is stated in advices from Mount Margaret, that Major Warburton was to start for the exploration of No Man's Land, ou the 17th July. Judge Boothby sent his defence to England by the last mail. He declined to forward it through the Government, whom he describes aa his prosecutors. Adelaide, 7th August. The Misses Daly, daughters of his Excellency the Governor, are to be married on Thursday next. The eldest will marry John Souttar, Esq., late manager of the Sandhurst branch of the Oriental Bank ; and the youngest, H. H. Turton, Esq., actuary to the Savings Bank of Adelaide.
