Our Hour market has b ecu stationary for some time, no shipments coining to hand causes stocks to be low. Beat Adelaide in quantity is worth £22 to £23 per ton. Other colonial brands not in demand. Provincial oatmeal. £29 to £33 per ton. Oats arc lower, and may now be quoted at 4^ 3d to 4s 6d par bushel, few parcels offering ; there has been no great demand for hay nnd chaff; the price tor hay is £5 10.= i per ton ; chail', £7 per ton ; potatoes, £7 to £8 per ton ; bacons and hams still continue scarce ; no English in the market ; good colonial is worth Is 4d to Is 6dper 1!> ; checso, scarce ; best English, Is 8d to Is ]Od per 1!) ; colonial, Is 6d per lb ; best Wellington butter, Is 9d to 2s per lb ; new Cork, none. Wines and spirits have not altered since our last quotations ; Martel's and Hennessy's brandy, 8s to 9s per gal ; other good brands, a shade lower ; whisky, 5s por pal ; rum, 10 0.p., •Is fid per gal ; Geneva, J.DKZ, IGs per case ; first-class .•••berry, £60 to £100 per pipe or uutt. Bottle:l alo and porter is very scarce, 15s pur dozen being the prico for porter ; mixed lots oi' <;ood brands are worth 13s to arrive ; bulk ale, Juul's and Alsop's now brew, £10 to £11 perhhd. Teas anii Migar meet, with fair demand ; there has been a slight advance in sugar ; but as there is no probability of extra duty, aud tlio -;toe!cs on hand not bein^ light wo do not expect threat alteration in price ; best congou tea, 2s to 2s 3d por lb. Oilmen's stores arc moro in demand ; good brands of Salad oil, scarce ; curfdles, one shade lower, and can now be purchased at Is Gd, full weights.
